What!? No.
Franklin's a great guy; thank you for the news, sad as it may be.

Rest in Peace Franklin.
I first heard about Franklin after he did a impressive ski descent from the summit of Argonaut peak.
I met Franklin for the first time early this season on an exceptional early season powder day. He was an exceptional skier and came up for an extra lap with our group. He seemed to have a lot of humor and we loosely buddied up during the last decent. I remember him Hooting and Hollering all the way down and at one point saying something along the lines of "I just shit my pants and don't care, because this powder is so good."(He was commenting on gas problems earlier in the day.) And he just kept riding and laughing. Being able to ride pow with a big smile after an accident puts him high in my book.
I only met him once but I will certainly remember him.

Sad news.
My wife and I were ski instructors with Frank Bradshaw in the 1980s (or maybe it was the 90s). He was called Frank then.
After I stopped ski instructing I lost touch with him for a couple decades. We met again in recent years when he got into mountaineering.
I never did any outings with Franklin but I appreciated his enthusiasm and enjoyed his photographs.
Condolences to his many friends.

oh, what sad news.
May his memory remain a blessing.
My memories of Franklin are his presence at every Glenn Wilcutt Tele Race I'd ever been in. Franklin once served me up the cherry, and he always served up his tell tale smile.
I'll bend a knee for you, Franklin.

I met Franklin briefly a few times and recognized him last season on top of Mt Catherine in a storm as we were about to drop in to ski powder under the big trees. I distinctly recall him looking totally happy and in his element. RIP FWB
