Can anyone provide some info on conditions in the Mount Bachelor area environs? I'm headed down from Seattle this coming weekend and would like to do my due diligence before packing up the touring gear.

Thank you!

sorry can't provide touring info but twas at bachelor in early-mid december--their base at 6k sat around 33~ inches more or less until this last storm cycle. Looks like they got about 40" at 6k, and 44" at 7k (guessing more fell but it was blowing above treeline, i know they were closed on saturday due to winds). Base now at 63in and midmnt at 79in. This last system came in kind of warm on sunday think that rained up to about 5k on hood, guessing at 4-5~ down there? Skiing Hood's timberline and Bach environs, all of dec/early jan things felt like the addition of a foot or two to the base back would greatly improve things, disproportionally so.. I bet tam mcarthur is rim is going to be nice this next weekend!

Good storm skiing in mellow glades over the weekend. 2'+ storm with lots of wind from the south. Coverage is now more than adequate out of Dutchman. We're into melt/freeze thru the weekend. I'm expecting crust & funk, but maybe something resembling spring conditions by the wkend. Bring a bike too if you have one, Horse Ridge & Maston should be in shape.
