Will it be too windy for lift skiing tomorrow?

Looks like a real blower of a forecast. For Hood NOAA is forecasting 55-60 mph winds at 6000' but lighter lower down. Too hard for me to predict, seems pretty windy but wind direction, gusts, politics and economics will all play a role in the decisions and every ski area. I'm personally hoping to ski the storm at Timberline. They now have enough coverage to operate the Jeff Flood lift but have yet to do so this winter. Does anyone have any thoughts or predictions about lift operation for tomorrow?

It turns out the wind is not as bad as I thought might be. I decided to work instead of ski because Timberline was limited to generator power and just the Pucci chairlift this AM. By about noon they were able to open Jeff Flood. Looks like I will need to get an early start tomorrow to have any chance at the leftovers.

Winds died down enough that I decided to ski yesterday. I learned that windy days are very popular with seasonal visitors. The parking lots were full and the lines were long for lifts running at reduced speed. I overheard several people say that they had been waiting all season to come up to Timberline. Graupelish precip turned to sleetish rain and the lines and crowds pretty much went away around noon. I didn't last much longer myself. We spent the better part of the afternoon drying off in the car and then the old lodge before we gave up and headed down the mountain. Valley conditions were surprisingly nice and we ended up stopping for a nice relaxing break at McIver Park before heading home.
