Not exactly a "setup" - you will also need some <800 gram skis to go with these.

Freakin Scott boots on steroids! The pursuit of "light" and why wouldn't the French be on top of this game? Practical for more than a handful? I predict a market that fits into a thimble. Is there a possibility that main-stream manufacturers will follow with carbon products and pure, essential, minimalist design? Cost and market viability take me back to the can't pay for itself position. But somebody is going to move like lightning uphill if throwing the coin at this!

It sounds like the boots would ski well, as the downhill 'schuss' is probably just as important as the uphill 'sprint'. I saw them in Back country mag, Oct. Issue.

Dynafit will start distributing this boot next year in NA, will be interesting to see if Dynafit buys them out and makes it their own. Definitely a niche boot if you can afford it, but durability and reliability are suspect, these boots break all the time. Aliens and Evo's are almost as light, cheaper and far more durable and reliable.
