I'm excited to see Kikkan Randall. She could be the first American woman to medal in cross country skiing, and the first American to win gold. Bill Koch won silver in 1976 (thanks Wikipedia).

Mikaela is incredible for her age (18). She is from Burke Mtn Academy (Vermont) same place Kelly Clark (snowboard half pipe) is from. I live in the Sierra, and Julia Mancuso (Squaw) is from here, and a up and comer is Lila Lapanja. Jan. 16, at Mammoth some of the Olympic team members will be picked.
