Muliti day tour options was created by jibmaster
We were planning on doing the circumnavigation on Crater Lake, but
just got off the phone with them and they are not even allowing skiers.
Only snowshoers.
Lack of snow. Only 6 inches on the rim.
Any snow around the Three Sisters area?

Yup, it's Revelstoke at the present time. And foreseeable future.... But if not going to interior B.C., The snow cam at Bachelor shows what looks sufficient albeit sub-standard coverage. No in-the-area beta but someone should be able to pass on something.

Conditions around Bachelor are firm with shallow snow pack. The early base has stuck around well enough for coverage to be OK above 6K, but things are quite firm. Check out a few condition reports at www.coavalanche.org/

I can't imagine it's gotten any better since those reports. Conditions at the resort last Tuesday were icy groomers, very firm crust off piste - occasionally breakable. I've been thinking conditions might be good for covering some distance on mellow terrain with a light setup.

Decided on touring out to Broken Top.
Staying out several days.
Where can we park overnight for several days? We'll be getting the Snopark pass, I guess.
Does Bachelor care if someone parks overnight for several days?
Dutchman Flat?

I'll be using my Rossi BC 110's with Dynafit ST bindings.
Scarpa Matrix boots.
Bringing the skins of course.
They are untrimmed, straight and somewhat narrow -only wall to wall under the foot.
I'll make it work...

One of my lightest setups.  Looking forward to cruising through the woods.
Should be interesting with the crust/ice/shaded woods...

Can't wait!
