An acquaintance was caught and fined (big time) last year for snowmobiling in the Mt Adams vicinity - don't know exactly where, but clearly he was deeper than he should have been. The interesting part is that he got caught by helicopter with video cam - ticketing LEO was from MARS. Don't know who's chopper it was. The anecdotal word I have is that more of the machine guys are playing by the rules down there.
