Thanks David, good to know. Doesn't apply to the packs with T-handles, which are newer, from what I read here.

I recieved my upgrade kit today. The trigger handle is still round, but has tapered top instead of flat. The other difference that I observed is that the cable is about two inches longer.

My pack is an older model and instead of sending a trigger, BCA offered to either replace the trigger in their shop, or else trade my old pack plus $199 for a new pack. I took the trade-up deal. Before sending in the pack, I test fired it. It worked. Then I took my cylinder to the local scuba shop where I paid TWENTY FIVE dollars for a refill.
