too late now, but my preferred method for mounting anything with rocker is to locate the boot sole center in the center of the effective running surface. Lay it flat on the bench, measure from the front contact point to the back, boot center at center of that measurement. FWIW.

yeah, I read you, oftpiste, bsc or bof (ball-of-foot, it's a tele thing) on crs.. i've been thinking this is reasonable, but for a while now, i'm hearing poo-poo about that... i don't really know the relationship between that and the mfg's mark.. if the mfg's would explain that on their websites, i'd be inclined to send them 2 or $3...

Yup. BOF. I forgot the name. Seems the manufacturers all do it based on experiential rather than measured info, but defaulting to BOF hasn't failed me yet.
