North face speaker series

For any of you who are in the south sound, I would highly recommend coming to see Xavier de la rue on October 15th in olympia. This is a free event, but you do need to go onto the north face website to RSVP.

Xavier de la rue is an amazing backcountry snowboard mountaineer extraordinaire! For real, badass dude. I'm pretty sure we will have beer and snacks, and I'm hoping we take out after and show him a good time. Hope to see you!

I've only seen him boot up and being dropped off a heli, never skinning on a split... in clips and movies, I mean.

Having said this, he's the major driver behind TNF getting the ABS pack tech (he said his pack has to have the best airbag) and I do believe he's the best extreme rider of our time. Not as conceptual as JJ, but def badass
