Have tools, need terrain was created by Jonn-E
I'd like to find a place that is reasonably accessible via skis that I can get more practice on front point / dual low dagger solo climbing with.  Basically all I need is steep snow slope that is frozen nicely in the morning has a somewhat safe runout.  Bonus points if it accesses a steep ski line.

Anything on Interglacier? Around Sunrise?

The Flett Headwall on Rainier seems like a good choice.

Hadn't heard of that before, looked it up, it looks perfect. Thanks for the suggestion and glad I asked!

John - I was contemplating your request yesterday while skiing the Paradise Glacier with the usual suspects.

Seems like this line should deliver all the front pointing you could desire and then some... all within about two hours from the car:

It’s actually steeper than the pictures since I was probably standing on a 35 degree slope look up to take the shots. Up top by the seracs it is near vertical.

The pics were shot from this location:
TOPO! GPS Data Format NAD83, Deg 46.81586,-121.71571, ElevFeet 7300, Local-Time 07-JUL-13 15:22:20

Probably the best access is from the 4th Crossing Trail trailhead parking lot at the north end of the Paradise Valley. We had continuous snow car to car yesterday, but that's likely over now. One should expect greater portages as the summer progresses.

Email me if you’d like to have an image if our gps track overlaid on a topo map showing the waypoint where to pictures were taken.

That also looks great! I can figure out where on Paradise it is with just the GPS point so thanks!
