Thrift Shop Crampons was created by Hawthorne
I saw these last winter at The Second Turn - a thrift shop on Century Drive south of Sun River Oregon. I didn't have my boots with me that day, so I tucked them into the rest of the old ski gear. Memorial day weekend I went back with a boot, they were still there, and they fit.
They're stamped Salewa DBF - Made in West Germany.
Finally messed around with adjusting them last night. They have a wire bale on the heal, but not the toe. Unsure of exactly how to strap them up. Two long straps. Straps are some kind of synthetic leather. Seem good shape, but thinking i should have a second set made by a saddlery shop or cobbler. Wondering if three separate straps would be better.
Open to thoughts about making a toe bail and the way I have them strapped.
They were marked $20, and memorial day weekend was 50% everything...

I used those same crampons a LOT for many years. You got a great deal.
It looks like the length of your crampons is adjusted well, but one way of checking is to pick the boot up while it's in the crampon but not strapped in. If the crampon doesn't fall off, the length is good.
For the best security the toe straps should be secured as shown in this url:
Strap on crampons
Note how the toe straps are folded under and over at each juncture.
