Telemon Memorial Ski August 18, 2013 was created by Nick-BC
The meeting place will be Artist Point parking lot - time to be determined closer to the date. The plan is to hike over to Ptarmigan Ridge and find enough of the white stuff for turns. Bob's son Gabe is coming and bringing his son in a back pack, so it will be a multi- generational celebration. Plus Colin (the other Scotsman on Ttips) is bringing his 8 year old son. A mellow day.

Meeting at 10.30 AM at the Artists Point parking lot. We'll be either in a Subaru Outback (what else? we're PNW telemarkers ;D) or a Honda Element.

Telemon was a true ski raconteur. Nick, thanks for doing this. If there is another memorial tour I'll try to make it.

It was nice (my family and I) meeting you guys at the Mountaineers Lodge on Saturday night.

I was the guy who arrived late at the lodge (9pm on Sat) after helping with a litter evacuation of the woman who suffered a lower leg compound fracture on the Lake Ann trail.  I can't recall who was who but those two little boys are so sweet and sociable!

I didn't meet Bob but I read many of his trip reports.  It was (and is) obvious he was a great guy who is loved by many.  He was on my mind a few weeks ago when  a group of us skied/climbed Mt Hood.  My family's condolences to his friends and family who surely miss him.
