Stopped at this area on Beartooth Pass (10,947ft) in early July 2012 on the way from Yellowstone to eastern Montana. If you're in Yellowstone and interested in going NE, it's a gorgeous drive. The lifts (pomas) were running and they were having a Freeride competition that day. Talked to some patrollers from Bridger and Red Lodge ski areas who were there working for the short season. Looks like there are some amazing chutes and jumps etc. As a bonus you can see mountain goats on the surrounding hillsides.
(see photos below) Note, that due to the high elevation the road can be closed at just about any time of year (ie. it was closed last weekend and just reopened). The pass only opened the 3rd week of June last year. Look carefully in the picture of that chute. The specks of dust on the lower right hand side are two snowboarders. The chute is on the other side of the pass from the lifts, but people ski and hitch or arrange a ride back up.
Here is some video of the area: !

- looks similar to the Tuckerman's headwall ! (but w/ lifts). And the airtime potential looks gnarly.
