Alpental conditions this weekend? 5/25-27 was created by Fall City Brian
Hoping to grab a few laps this weekend, any insight on conditions would be very appreciated. Snow still sufficiently continuous from the base area? My standards and expectations are appropriately low...

My beta is from Monday night but with the cool conditions things maybe haven't changed as much as they would over a typical May weather 4 day span.
For up, snow starts 25-50 feet from patio but might want to keep skis and skins out of the dirt and dog shit and walk just a bit farther. Some narrow spots and creeks to avoid in next 250vf but generally skinnable from there. Sessel a possible choice, connected to patio via a few bands. Above C4 level you won't have issues til higher. Rollen has a narrow pinch that's straightline way down, trickier way up. Edelweiss skins fine albeit side hilly.
For down, Nash entrance requires skis off and beware some cracks but that run is really good. In Bowl side consolidation isn't quite as good as nash side but it's acceptable. True BC consolidation (Knoll 1) not bad now. Avoid Debbies for down, cat tracks all over. Try Eisfallen or Dom or lower I.
The snow WAS nice 1-2" softened corn-ish snow pretty much all aspects but that is more temp dependent and no idea what new snow did.

Thanks wolfs! I appreciate the intel, and looks like a "go" for me. Hope to see many Tay-ers up there also. Sounds like Silas is rounding up a large posse'. Party at the top anyone?

Conditions update for those of you who see this weekend's forecast as a glass half-full:
There's still a ribbon of snow between Sessel & St. Bernard that takes you down to Lot 3. Bumped into a couple of folks finishing up a damp tour who traversed skier's left -> right underneath the trees in the center of the frame and made it down within a dozen yards of the patio without walking.
