Stevens Pass Helicopter Rescue

Does anyone know what happened?

cchapin pointed this out in response to a query about seeing a helicopter heading north from I-90 Saturday. SnoHawk 10 isn't red, and I'm pretty sure the heli we saw was red.

The video is impressive. May the skier heal well!  Big thank yous to the dispatch, patrol, rescue, and medical folks involved.

Got word today from a friend and Stevens Pass lift serve regular who was at the ski area the day of the accident--- that the skier accessed the Wenatchee Bowl side country from a lift. So not technically a backcountry touring situation. Sounded like the skier injured his back and was assisted by the Stevens Pass ski patrol

Hope the injured person has a speedy recovery.
