Truly sad news. Don will be missed. He was a great guy. So glad my wife and I had the pleasure of his and Chris' hospitality at a very special place, High Camp.
Thanks Don and Chris,

Don was a true Ambassador to the Backcountry. When you where to ask him for where to ski at High Camp his advise never let you down. He was one of those guys that you liked from the moment you met him.

Don was always a welcoming presence at High Camp. His enthusiasm, skill, and personal warmth will be terribly missed. Such upsetting news.

This is very sad news!!
Don was a super nice guy, very laid back and fun to tour with. Just one of those great down to earth guys. He got out of the rat race and made a great niche out of what they love!
Condolences and well wishes to the family!

Very sad news!
Don was an outstanding guy and a true gem. You didn't just come away from a visit to High Camp thinking you made a new friend, you knew you had a friend. His enthusiasm was contagious. Looking forward to seeing Chris & Don became a large part of our visits to the Chiwaukums over the years.
My heart goes out to Chris & family, and the staff, hosts, and friends that make up the extended family at Scottish Lakes.
