7:00 pm - Come see our great orientation show of the programs and courses offered by the Tacoma Mountaineers. We welcome new members, prospects and friends. Bring the family to see what we do including climbing and scrambling, sea kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, social & family activities, first aid, sailing, navigation, avalanche training, and more. This will be a chance to visit with committee people in activities of interest to you.
7:40 pm - Jason Hummel, renowned ski mountaineer and photographer will be sharing an evening of phenomenal stories and photographs. Jason has been climbing, skiing, and capturing the mountains of the Pacific Northwest his entire life. He has a masterful sense of light and space and has collected dramatic imagery of our local climbers and scenery in both the best and worst of conditions. Join us for an unforgettable evening of his favorite stories and imagery.
After a year of renovation, the Tacoma Program Center is complete! We will open the doors early at 6:30 pm to allow interested parties to check out the beautiful new facility!
