Larry Cannon, paramedic and avid outdoor enthusiast, will talk about staying cool while getting cold. Learn about physiological responses to cold; preparing for exposure to cold and preventing injury; and dealing with cold exposure and injury while still outdoors, and what to do once back inside.
At the meeting we’ll also review upcoming one-day and overnight trips and touch briefly on lingering club business. And, a highlight of the evening, we’ll give away a $50 gift card to REI. Must be present to win.
