With the dismal forecast for the weekend here in WA, I'm considering heading up to the Whistler BC. I've never really been out in the Whistler BC and it looks like they are expecting snow this weekend and therefore avalanche considerations will be huge. Could anyone point me in the direction of some safer treed areas to ski (I really want to ski Decker and some of the other peaks out that direction, but that might not be in the cards)? I would intend to tent Saturday night somewhere out there. Also, any info on where to park a vehicle overnight?
