Indeed. I'm actually on the committee that is helping to draft the SCORP plan for Washington right now.

I would highly encourage those of you with interest in backcountry skiing, splitboarding, whatever - to take advantage of the opportunity to make your interests known. There is very little language in the SCORP survey about backcountry skiing, or about the impacts to state BC skiing areas as a result of changes in federal BC skiing areas (e.g. MRNP)...
