Tyler Reid and Jason Thompson 2/9/13

PORT ANGELES, January 30, 2013 – Montana based mountain photographer Jason Thompson and local mountain guide Tyler Reid will be presenting slideshows in Port Angeles on February 9th at Wine on the Waterfront, 115 E Railroad Ave, Port Angeles. The talks start at 7pm and the suggested donation is $5.

These presentations are part of the Second Saturday series of adventure sports presentations that benefit the Hurricane Ridge Winter Sports Club.

Thompson’s presentation will focus on skiing in Patagonia and other destinations around the world. His work has been published in Powder Magazine, Alpinist, Backcountry, Men’s Fitness, National Geographic Adventure, the Patagonia catalogue, and numerous other outlets.

Reid will open the evening with a presentation on guiding in Alaska’s mountain ranges.

Thompson and Reid are both natives of the Olympic Peninsula, raised in Poulsbo and Port Townsend respectively.
