Free Avalanche Awareness Course at the Bainbridge Island Public Library,

Presented by Pacific Alpine Guides in association with Wildernest Outdoor Store and the Friends of the Northwest Avalanche Center. This course will provide a basic overview of avalanches, the risks associated with winter backcountry travel, understanding avalanche forecasts, and avalanche safety equipment.
