My daughter sent me this picture from a ski hill in Minnesota.

Clearly they have miscreants and social issues we don’t yet face out West. Has anyone seen the need for this kind of outright ban and infringement of individual liberties at any Washington State ski areas? Has anyone seen people making abusive use of cooking appliances on one of our ski hills? Or threatening anyone with a hot dish?

Go to the main lodge at Central on the weekend. You'll see (crock) pot abuse. Those people take up the whole damn lodge. I don't really care though since I rarely go to Central.

I thought anyone who put out a crock pot was just offering food for everyone, potluck style.
