Lost poles, Mt. Ellinor was created by Snitter
I know this is a long shot, but here it goes...

I lost (most likely left them leaning against the car and left) two poles on NF-2419, south-east of Mt. Ellinor.  One is an beat-up black Goode pole with duct tape on it, the other is a BD whippet, last year's model.  They were unceremoniously abandoned mid-December at the middle trailhead (about 3000 ft) on the north side of the road.  Much snow has fallen on top of them, and my hopes are not high they will be found anytime soon.  But if you do I will gladly pay a finder's fee (homebrew, store beer, cold hard cash, etc).

If there is one lesson I have learned, it is to ski more often so I can have a better chance of finding crap I leave behind. No Tatoosh for me this morning...

Replied by Snitter on topic Re: Lost poles, Mt. Ellinor BUMP
Went up to Mt. Ellinor yesterday, the snow has melted within 1/4 mile of the middle trailhead, where the poles were accidentally abandoned.  Sadly probing and digging were unsuccessful.  The offer still stands for reward.
Thanks everyone!

P.S. I did not climb, but the climber's chute is reported still quite full, but pockmarked with boot pack.  The south face off of the summit looked quite inviting though.
