Is there a resource similar to TAY or Cascade Climbers for backcountry users in British Columbia? I'm looking to spend some time up there this winter, but lack many partners or contacts in the great white North!

Thanks

Big province - it really depends on where you're skiing.

I probably should have been clearer! Thinking mostly SE Interior. Nelson, Golden, Revy, Fernie, Kamloops kind of area. Also anything for Whistler, Sea to Sky, Garibaldi would be great, thanks.

Teton gravity kinda has some stuff in the interior thread but meaty info has been severely lacking these days with just photos being posted with no condition reports or general area. I just post my TRs here as the community here is far superior to anything else you will find online. Also the backcountry skiing canada website has an extremely strong commercial vibe. I much prefer the TAY chill out unless your walking in my skin track with snowshoes vibe.

Just start posting here and perhaps enough of us will start doing it that it will take off. Maybe they will make a separate Canada thread at some point ;)

I would recommend contacting some of the regular posters in the BC Interior thread on TGR via PM. I've had luck acquiring beta on a few trips to Revy and Rogers Pass doing this.
