Spent a freezing night out at 13K on White MT in CA in a coffin sized trench with a lightweight tarp on top and after maybe 10-20 minutes, it was quite nice. This is a great idea for a flatter area (or slope) for 1 2, or more people in a pinch. Good stuff!
