Anybody know if Snow Lake is ready for ski crossing? Got a plenty of snow by now, but has been cold long enough??

got info from Charlie as of 12/24:
Snow lake was easy-peasey. Only Derrick Lake spooked us.

Every lake's stratigraphy was snow ice water ice. We could never get a pole through.the bottom ice layer. It felt strong. Boots never went through the fairly burly upper ice, not even close.
