I am looking at AIARE training and trying to find out what provider would be a good match for me. In particular, what vendor would be a good match for someone who already has a fair amount of backcontry riding experience and already has a fair amount of self-taught and learned from others knowledge.
I'm sure most of the options are great. But I'm looking for one that would be a better match for non-beginners. All advice appreciated.

The NCMG offerings out of Mazama are said to be great and are taught by guides who spend a lot of time out in the backcountry applying what they teach and include time in the field putting it all together. Their website describes the various levels of classes they offer:

I agree with J.P. on the NCMG recommendation.
I just took the AIARE Level 1 course from the Mazama guys this weekend. I have many years of climbing and skiing experience, but I was engaged and interested the whole three days. 8 students and two instructors for three days. I heard a rumor about U.S. Ski Team members taking the course from them last year. I don't think you can come into to this with too much knowledge to enjoy and learn from these guys.
buried surface hoar - wow!

For some great local providers at Snoqualmie Pass check out BC Adventure Guides and Pro Guiding, solid instructors that cater to the more experienced student.

The mountaineers classes are AIARE certified and open to non-members. The classroom sesseions are spread out more than an intensive course, which allows for a bit more reflection on the material.
