Fire Damage in the Blewett Pass area

Latest update from the Leavenworth Ranger District -- They have been clearing the trails.

Some good and bad news…

We have cleared ( over 55 down/ standing/hanging trees) from all the highlighted trails on the attachment. So, the plan, is to “Open” (for public use) all the highlighted sections ( basically all the lower loops).

The remaining end (.3 mile?) on the Upper Tronson Road Trail will probably not get done this year.

From the Lilliby Tie Trail intersection up to the end of Haney Meadow Trail ( and Table Mountain Loop) will also remain unlogged for this winter season…

The Haney Meadow Trail, from the snow-park lot, up to the Lilliby Tie Intersection ( should get completed this weekend- weather permitting: I have two sawyers going to clear it)

So, all areas highlighted are open. I will confirm when the snow-park to lilliby tie are completed…
