It isn't uncommon for any of the sites to go down. I'm sure NWAC is aware of it, but as it is awhile before they start forecasting, they are probably not too concerned about it. On a tight budget and with limited manpower they may well wait until they can kill two birds with one stone in getting it back online.

It would be interesting to see how much rain (and now snow) has accumulated at Baker since the 12th

I was there yesterday. About 18 inches at Heather Meadows. We were able to just barely ski a Blueberry Chute.

I was there yesterday. About 18 inches at Heather Meadows. We were able to just barely ski a Blueberry Chute.


I was out hiking yesterday elsewhere and although there were 16" of nice fluffy powder, there wasn't even a hint of a base.

It's up and running now and the data definitely show that the snow depth is somewhere between -46" and 349"........ ???

Actually a number that pops up several times that makes more sense is 14 or 15". I'd bet that is the accurate number.
