BC ski lobby groups?

perhaps someone could educate me further, but it seems like they're very strongly anti-snowmobile and more interested in "preserving" access for skiers (ie. no annoying sleds around) than actually fighting for more access in the form of plowed roads and snow parks, etc. Alienating other winter groups seems like exactly the wrong strategy at this point.

^^^^^ exactly...more of a conservation group and definitely anti-snowmo ( or cat or heli). Their sort of advocacy will backfire eventually .

Don't overlook the Seattle Mountaineers and their branches; I don't know how much lobbying per se they do, but they seem to be very active in their conservation/recreation efforts.
