late Sept. Mount Baker skiing? was created by rlsg
Presently have some free time--any idea if it is still "reasonably good skiing" on Baker--Squak or Easton...maybe CD....like last month's reports indicated. Is it smokey up there..tons of smoke here in Central Oregon..gotta get out of here.

I can't speak to Squak or Easton, but the Sholes was pretty good last weekend. No large amounts of smoke that we noticed; the views were quite clear.

It was hazy but not too bad up by Park Butte (by the Easton) last weekend. Trip reports on nwhikers point to this corner of the Cascades being a bit less smoky than most other spots.
