Closest snow to seattle?

I want to make some august turns but am finding myself balking at driving up to baker. Is there anything else worth skiing that I might not be thinking of? All the recent TR's seem to show rainier or baker so i'm just curious if anyone has managed to find anything else out there.

hey bro, i've got a reasonable facsimilie [of all the snow i've ever skied] in my garage freezer.  if accessing 8k is a pita, we could chip it out and spread it on our sloped lawn.  seriously, it's an annual thing..   and since i'm all about sausages, we could throw some on the barbie..  i'm near the base of rainier, almost semi-alpine.  pm me.         yours,    dg

I'm pretty sure that would meet (meat, har har har) my criteria of 10 turns or 100 vertical feet, and If we did it around midnight on friday I'd get two months in one!
