If any of you are from the Wenatchee area and have been following, or are interested in, the snowmobile/skier conflict reduction effort, there is a meeting tonight that you might be interested to attend. Representative Cary Condotta will be in attendance, as will folks from both camps who have been cooperating on a plan to provide some non-motorized winter recreation areas. I'm interested and will be participating in the process. One thing I really like about the direction this is going is that the areas on both sides of Mission Ridge may become non-motorized. This is the easy access stuff for short winter hike-skiing at Stemilt Basin and the Clara Lakes area. If you've seen my posts, you know I love these two spots and I'm pretty excited that they might become non-motorized.
Also affected will be Haney Meadow and Mt. Lillian.
