He was found, having wandred into the Morrison Creek drainage, per this news item . We need a "band playing" emoticon for moments like this...

Leaving Cold Springs on Sunday afternoon we were stopped by the missing climber's partner.  He asked us to keep and eye out for his friend.  Later we heard him calling for his partner as we were setting up camp.  When we came out on Monday afternoon, we saw the Mountain Rescue vehicle in the campground.  Further down the mountain we saw a sheriff's trailer.  We couldn't help but think the worst.  So glad this ended happily.

As an aside, we met two other groups, at various points in our route to the summit and exit via the SW chutes, who were disoriented and not exactly sure of their location or the route back to Cold Springs.
