Thanks for the Super Glue

Thank you to whoever that was that gave me super glue from their repair kit on the false summit of Adams this past Saturday. I pulled the toe piece out of my ski on the climb and was panicking that I might have to walk off the mountain. Thanks to the generosity of another skier I was able to get the toe piece back together with the glue and some broken off matchsticks. This fix got me back to snow level before pulling out again. I will never go out without epoxy or super glue in my repair kit again. It was a bummer to miss the SW Chutes in prime condition but I was very lucky that this break down turned out as well as it did.

FWIW, IME, many K2 touring ski cores have soft spots and should be fitted with helicoils or pound-in inserts, especially for Dynafit or other tech toes. All of my personal K2 skis are helicoiled.
