Rainier "Speed Run" was created by Jonathan_S.
They:
-- had suboptimal weather;
-- had suboptimal snow quality;
-- had suboptimal snow quantity;
-- didn't seem to skimp on safety (bring both avy & crevasse gear, and roping up); and,
-- got lost on the descent ...
... yet still:

Carbon boots notwithstanding, making 3 grand an hour up Rainier with a rope is pretty rare company.

I was extremely impressed when I saw their trip reports and I was happy to see them bringing their speed game up here. I cannot imagine being able to ski 3,000'/hour. Obviously these guys are gifted athletes. I am also happy to see the positive comments on this site. I was a bit shocked when the comments on Cascade Climbers were critical of these guys. That did not make any sense to me. Nice work Dorias brothers!
