Here's an obituary that was published in the Seattle Times:

Keith S. Hardy, Jr.

Keith S. Hardy, Jr., 34, died in a backcountry skiing accident at Mount Baker on June 15, 2012. Keith was a loving father and husband, a generous friend, and a talented physician. He lived his life with great joy, spirit, and integrity, always inspiring others to follow their passions and be their best selves.

Keith loved being in the mountains, whether on skis, on his bike, or on foot. He loved the exhilaration and personal challenge of adventuring in new terrain, as well as the camaraderie of sharing the experience with others. Those who traveled the trails with him can attest to his unique combination of impressive technical skill, superhuman endurance, and irresistible positive energy. We all pushed ourselves a little harder when we were with him. (He made us want to, and besides, that was the only way we could ever hope to keep up with him.)

Keith was a physician at Evergreen Sport & Spine Center in Kirkland. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Michigan and completed residency at the University of Washington. Keith was a rising star in the field of sports medicine, and was loved by patients and colleagues alike. He had just been ranked as one of the area's top physiatrists by Seattle Met magazine.

Keith had a long history of volunteering, including a stint at a medical clinic near the Thai-Burma border and hands-on work with Outdoors for All. He also provided medical coverage for a number of local professional, college, and high school sports teams and served as the US medical director for the Ride to Conquer Cancer, a charity bike ride from Vancouver, BC to Seattle.

Keith is survived by his wife Jennifer Amsterlaw and son Jasper; grandfather Ralph Hardy of Carrabelle, FL; father Keith Hardy, Sr. (and wife, Uta) of Apalachicola, FL and Washington, DC; grandmother Mila Yang of Tucson, AZ; mother Tessa Yang of Ventura, CA; brother Loren Hardy of Los Angeles, CA; and sister Meyin Schmidt (and husband Greg) of Orange Park, FL.

A private memorial was held on June 23 at Discovery Park in Seattle.
