Mike it was you who said it was "no big deal "! I"m taking your word for and passing it along 
Anyways, Latest word is they could 'nt get Ranger Nick Hall's body so Sunrise will stay closed till that happens in the next weather window. Best to avoid the area till then IMHO.

Yeah, if I did a bike and ski it would be with someone else, and it wouldn't be stealthy. I know I can hike the trail, but that has less appeal to me. I don't mind carrying the skis up, but I don't like carrying them down. I'll do it, but not there. Given the tragedy, I sure don't want to disturb the folks who run the park. Thanks for the info on the fine, that will keep me out other years as well. Someday I hope they open up the area as soon as they plow it (or, at the very least, allow folks to bike it) but I know it won't happen this year.
