N. gully works--the area between n and south (the hill..) sucks when no snow to bury the heinous brush.
S. gully has at times copious water under feet ...not recommended according to Jeff Thomas g.book author and I concur at least when it it is not adequately buried. Also, you have huge slopes above you and when it is bare gigantic rocks are poised it seems to come rolling down on you. In snow covered conditions..can you say avalanche --seems one is a sitting duck..super terrain trap...
Wondering what approach Chris Davenport took...sounds like they had a super stable window so wondering if they indeed did s.gully!?
All ears if you find out..
