Seattle area shop that does pack/clothing repair? was created by Pete A
For years I used to take my ripped up ski pants and packs in need of alterations to Northwest Garment & Gear Repair that was located in the back of a dance supply store on Fremont Ave....the shop went out of business a year or two ago and I haven't found a good replacement yet. I know that Rainy Pass repair is out there, but last time I checked their prices were a bit steep compared to what I used to get done at NW Garment. Anyone got a recommendation of a shop that can do things like patch a pair of ski pants or bar-tack some ski slots on a new backpack? thanks.

High Above
Give this guy a jingle -- I can't vouch for anything except that he seems like a nice guy and he's got the equipment to do repair. I think he's working on getting his business up and running and takes repair work to fill the gaps? Not really sure.

Is he cheaper than rainy pass? They quoted me something like $150 to replace a zipper in a jacket. I'm sure it's a pain in the ass job, but yikes!
