Iron Horse Trail was created by Seth

A little off the ski topic but I thought I would ask TAYers anyway. Some friends are planning on riding there bikes from Hyak to North Bend via the Iron Horse Trail this weekend. Is there still snow on the trail?

I don't think the tunnel is even open yet.

They could always cover a short stretch from the on-ramp at West to wherever they can pick up the melted out Iron Horse, on I-90. Get an earlyish start and there probably wouldn't be much traffic. All downhill, so they could cover it pretty fast then get back to enjoying the ride on the IH.

According to the SP, the tunnel opened yesterday and it's clear all the way to Cedar Falls.

Might have to change some plans for this weekend... pedaling in the rain's much more enjoyable than skiing in it.
