Highway 20/WA Pass Area was created by mcohen
Anyone ski in this area on Sunday since it got really warm? Was up there on Saturday and it skied great and am considering going back this Wednesay. Just curious if it's freezing at night. I know the air temps are warm from telemetry data, but would love to hear about any skiing on Sunday or Monday.
Thanks.
Mike

Two friends of mine just skied the birthday tour. Sounded like it was decent. They were out there yesterday & today (13th/14th).

Mike,
We skied Blue Lake Trail, up the Col, and over the North side and back on Sunday. With a 7 am start from the limited parking TH, we found the snow solid and firm. freebird used the ski crampons. The col lacked the "death cornice" and the "Madison Ave" aspects skied corn perfection from 9:30- 11 am, getting a bit sloppy on the ascent back to the col. By 1:00 or so, the six turns back under the col were firm, but from the bench all the way to the car, we enjoyed the harvest of some of the finest corn. Silas's Silver Star report from today may be more valuable.
