No more full marcus' :'(

Seen on the news this am that the whistle stop in skykomish burnt nearly to the ground. Gonna miss the chicken and jo-jo's, and the closest thing on the wet side of two to a ski pub...

So sad! I loved that place. The horseradish was the best...

Very bad news for patrons and for the town. Lisa and I stayed at the Cascadia Inn last season and enjoyed the Whistle Stop. Their hot dogs were sub-par, but there was plenty of good beer to chase it with.

Memories.. I bumped into Alisa Blitz on smithbrook a couple weeks ago. She was going up to Camp MTR, and my friend from Colorado and I where on our way to the Whistle Stop. At the spot, I was telling him about the above inccident, and how he had to do a 'full marcus'...
