It's this week!
Coming to the big city on Wednesday.
The film awards program Wednesday evening exceeded my expectations. The award presentation had a nice mix of sentiment and teaser footage. (The films will be shown in their entirety on Thursday and Friday evenings.)
The Austrian film "Ski Heil" was an amazing piece of work by a young filmmaker. A story of the birth of skiing in Austria, of the Depression, of Nazi Germany, of war, and of four skiers who lived through it all to tell their stories just a few years ago. A landmark film.
I'm looking forward to the next few evenings on the waterfront....
