Title:
Decision Making for the Experienced Backcountry Traveler: Review and analysis of the ongoing challenges we face when managing avalanche risks in the mountains.
Goal:
To provide a means of ongoing education and improvement in the decision making processes of experienced backcountry travelers.
Summary:
This two-hour evening of lectures and interactive work will examine the ‘in the moment’ dynamics that can affect the decision making processes of experienced backcountry users.
When: Tuesday March 6th

This evening is geared towards to people with a little to a lot of backcountry (skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing) experience who are looking to improve their decision making skills. Previous avalanche training, such as an avalanche level 1 or 2, is recommended, but not required.
