Photographic Adventures in the Cascades with Jason Hummel
Come join us for an evening of stories and photographs with ski mountaineer and photographer Jason Hummel.
He will take you on his winter traverse of the Picket Range in the North Cascades to skiing lines off the ten highest summits in Washington. From summer skiing on Mount Rainier, to winter skiing on the highest non-volcanic peak in Washington at Bonanza Peak. He will answer questions about skiing and photography and what it takes to travel in the Cascades on skis.
A nationally published photographer, Jason started climbing in the Cascade Mountains as soon as he could walk. After leaving his job in finance in 2009, he decided to seek out his passion. Since then, he has published images in magazines like Backcountry, Skiing, Coast Mountain Culture, and more. He has shot photographs for ski resorts and companies alike. Take this opportunity to join Jason at the Mountaineers on Monday, March 5th at 7pm in Seattle.
Free admission, no registration necessary, members and non-members welcome.

Runningclouds, nothing in Vancouver planned this year. Maybe next year?
As for those who could make this event, thank you. We had over 200 people last night. Thanks for taking time out of your day to come and see my images and listen to my stories. I really enjoyed it and hope everyone else did as well.

Jason I asked the ACC-Vancouver to get in touch with you and see if they can bring you over the border for a slideshow up here. I hope it will happen, there is a lot of people here who would enjoy your photos and stories. I am always glad to see your stuff on Flickr so keep it going please.
