Voile ski crampons with BD's O1 tele-bindings?

Thanks Randy. Those look pretty good too. I ordered the Voile crampons before I saw your post, I will post some pictures once I get around to mounting them.

Runningclouds: G3 ski crampons were mounted on G3 ascent bindings, not O1's

While I am waiting for my Voile delivery I am wondering about the effects of fixed crampons on the skis.

With the BD O1 crampons the force to drive the crampon into snow is transferred from the boot directly onto the crampon, bypassing the ski. With the fixed crampon, where the boot does not touch the crampon, the force is transferred through the binding and the ski.

Everything else equal would this make the fixed crampon less efficient and more prone to failure at the point of attachment?
