AT rental options was created by Alan Brunelle
I have some friends who are interested in getting started in alpine touring and I thought that a trip or two on rentals might be a good intro.
Is Marmot the only option on renting a setup?
Thanks,
Alan

Thanks for the replies.
I had forgotten Pro Ski since it is not in my neck of the woods so to speak, but may work for my friends.
Not sure of their pricing, but I noted that Marmot shows $70 for AT setup. On the other hand it is a lot cheaper for tele setup and I am not sure why that is so, or more likely I did not read things correctly.
I do know that Marmot will apply the cost of a rental toward a purchase, but on the otherhand I like the fact that Pro Ski offers current demo equipment. Particularly useful for those who are shopping.
Thanks again,
Alan

Marmot is great.
Last season Feathered Friends also offered rentals: www.featheredfriends.com/retail_store/FF_2011-rental-rates.pdf
But you should call them to see if they are renting this season and what their rates are now.
